The College starts and finishes the week with a positive thought and a smile!! A reminder for all; a positive attitude is important to keep our spirits up and to keep us moving in the right direction but we must also remember that our attitude towards others is equally important.
A whole College meeting is followed by pastoral time with form tutors. In these sessions, students are encouraged to record their own weekly targets – with a greater focus on social skills and how they can improve. The onus is on learners’ accountability for their aims and how they will attain these goals. Fridays’ focus is evaluation of targets and self-assessment of efforts.
Our community meetings nurture a positive college ethos that stress care for self, others and the pursuit of all forms of excellence. They powerfully nurture the development of intrapersonal intelligence and SEAL.
