For the past three years the college has been involved in the planning and delivery of a national conference for hospital schools based in CAMHS units. Over one hundred delegates attended the event in Birmingham.
College staff delivered sessions on autism and maths mastery. We were also supported by Dr Emma Williams who delivered an excellent keynote session on educating young people with psychosis.
An inspirational keynote session was provided by a former service user and their parent which gave a real insight into why hospital education is so essential for continuity, recovery and next steps.
